At Logos and Lux, faith meets design. As Reformed Christians, we stand firmly on the unshakable foundation of God’s Word. Every product we create is inspired by the truth of Scripture and the beauty of the Gospel.
Our mission is simple: to glorify God by shining the light of Christ—the Light of the World—through designs that reflect His truth, grace, and love. We hope that each of our products sparks conversations and encourages others toward the glorious hope we have in Jesus Christ.
Join us in proclaiming the truth of the Gospel, one design at a time. Soli Deo Gloria!
Logos (λόγος): (Greek) Word. In John, denotes the essential Word of God, Jesus Christ, the personal wisdom and power in union with God, his minister in creation and government of the universe, the cause of all the world's life both physical and ethical, which for the procurement of man's salvation put on human nature in the person of Jesus the Messiah, the second person in the Godhead, and shone forth conspicuously from His words and deeds.
Lux: (Latin) Light. A particular appearance of brightness, a light; a source of light, luminary. Jesus is the light of the world.
In the beginning was the Word (logos), and the Word (logos) was with God, and the Word (logos) was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light (lux) of men. The light (lux) shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light (lux), that all might believe through him. He was not the light (lux), but came to bear witness about the light (lux).
The true light (lux), which gives light (lux) to everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
And the Word (logos) became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. -John 1:1-14
